The MV-SA 38mm unit is designed for customers seeking the performance of the MV-S wastegate without the need to run coolant lines to the actuator bottom. Its specially designed radiation fins allow sufficient airflow to cool the unit. The MV-SA spaces the diaphragm away from the main heat source, enabling cooler air to pass between the actuator top (which houses the diaphragm) and the cast wastegate housing.
